    Sharing Documents Using Google

I am working on a project online and need to share documents with other people online. I know that Google has a way to share documents, but does that work pretty well? What features does it have available in addition do sharing?

You must be talking about Google Docs. I haven't used it yet. I do know that you can create collections of documents. Then, you can specify who has access to that particular set of documents.

I have been using Google Documents lately, because they are saved to "The Cloud". I like that I can pull them anywhere, from either my phone or a computer. So far, I've only labeled them personal. I've never tried to share them. But it's nice to know that I could easily create documents that can be used by others, as well.

Yes, Google Docs is what I'm talking about, I just couldn't remember the name. I am going to try it out because it definitely looks like the right way to go. It's easy enough to sign up for a Google account if one of my co-workers doesn't have it anyway.

I've used Google Docs as well and love it. Being able to access documents from anywhere is very convenient. The sharing feature is simple to use, too. The only issue I've had is it trying to change the language on me, but that was a bug for some time on Google's side.

I've just tried Google Docs for the first time to share some presentations with my colleagues, and I was quite impressed with what it can do...

Some months ago, I tried the service that Microsoft offers to share documents online, but Google Docs seems to be more user-friendly.

I have only used Google Docs a handful of times but I really like it. It is user friendly, easy and secure. Besides I can share my documents from my Android or my computer which is great for when I am on the go.

Does Google Docs support only the basics from the Microsoft Office (Word, Excell, Powerpoint), or does it have any other programs? Also, does anyone know whether it works only on Android tablets, or also on the iPad 2?
