Larger tablets in the near future?

It seems that almost every company out there has settled for a maximum of 10 inches for their tablets' size. Do you think there are going to be any larger tablets designed in the near future? You know, around 17 inches, like a PC screen, to be able to play games with very good graphics and do other tasks that require a larger screen...

Hopefully, if they do, it will run on Android...

I think making it larger kind of defeats the purpose of having a tablet but that is just my opinion. I think the smaller screen is perfect for it's purpose. If you want to do major gaming get a console or computer.

I think 10" is perfect, I think anything small has no purpose from a phone. But anything larger, would just feel weird when you held it.

I wouldn't want a larger tablet. If the tablets get any larger, they might as well call it a touchscreen computer. The tablets are still a bit foreign to my old mind; I hope they don't move too quickly with upgrades.

Well, it's totally upon on future. We just hope that larger screen tablet will launch in near feature. I totally agree with you that it's really the best option for playing game on big screen. It's really looking promising!

I saw some time ago a humorous photo with Apple presenting in 2015 the iRug. ) Seriously, though, 10'' is just perfect for a tablet. I think Asus made a 12'' tablet. I remember seeing it on some website, but I don't know what it was called. It didn't catch my attention because it was not on Android.

It was something from the EEE series as far as I remember, EEE slate or something. 12" is decent, maybe enough. After all, if somebody comes up with a 15" tablet let's say...well, that would be bigger than my laptop's screen.
