    Touch-Screen Texting

How do you feel about touch-screen texting? Do you like the virtual keyboard, or do you prefer an actual keyboard?

Personally, I like an actual keyboard better, especially since auto-correct often changes what I'm trying to say to something completely different instead. (Think Damn You Auto Correct! - Funny iPhone Fails and Autocorrect Horror Stories, lol.) However, in turning auto-correct off, I've found that the touch-screen keyboard isn't nearly as accurate as it should be, almost as if the calibration of the touch-sensor is off. So all in all, I would definitely prefer a REAL keyboard!

I do not use the stock keyboard for my Android so my touch screen experience is a little different than yours. I got tired of the auto correct changing my words on me. I prefer an actual keyboard but I have gotten used to a virtual one.

I use the virtual, unless typing something long. Defiantly, I think the auto correct in ICS is a big improvement.

When smartphones were introduced, I did not think I would like the virtual keyboard. Frankly, it was a completely foreign concept to me. However, now that I have one, I can't imagine going back to the actual keyboard!
