    Droid Bionic

I've been waiting to upgrade my phone and I'm pretty sure I want the new Droid Bionic! It's 4G! I don't like the cost though - with my upgrade it will still cost me $299 (pre-tax). Anyone have the Bionic yet? Is it worth it? What kind of bugs have you seen or heard of with the new Bionic?

That IS quite a big chunk of change, but if you think you'd like it (and if other people say it's as awesome as it sounds), then maybe the price is worth it.

See I don't know... I'm wondering what kinds of bugs need to be worked out still. I'm not one to buy something as soon as it comes out. I feel for that once with an Apple product and got burned. Does anyone own a Bionic here on the boards?

I don't recommend getting a 4g phone just yet. I have a friend who works for Verizon who says that it's not got all the kinks worked out. As for the Bionic itself, I'm not sure yet. I haven't really heard many reviews yet but it looks cool.

As tempting as the newest product always is, I always wait since you can usually save a lot of money. Also, with any technology-based product, whether it's an Android phone or something else, I feel like it pays to let other consumers test it. Then, the issues are worked out, the product gets tweaked, and you can buy it and at a lower price.

The Droid Bionic is a really awesome smartphone. It runs Gingerbread, it's produced by Motorola and, according to some reviews I've read, it delivers a combination of capabilities never before seen in a cell phone. Considering all these aspects, you can bet it is worth buying.

Exactly. I prefer to let issues get worked out. I think that's why my friend said to let everybody else get 4g first. Then by the time it's more affordable all the bugs will be worked out. Being the first to have something does not always pay off.
