E-book readers running on Android OS

I've been meaning to get an e-book reader for some time. Can you tell me what e-book readers run on Android OS? My friend has a Kobo e-reader touch, but it runs on Linux. Do the Kindle or Nook run Android OS?

I know Android has a Kindle app, but personally I tried and hated it. It requires you to be connected to the internet to read your books, which means data usage. I use and love Aldiko, though I have heard good things about Calibre.

I also tried the Kindle app. It wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be, but it was okay. Seems to me it would be much better to get the kindle because of the anti-glare. Staring at the phone to read a book is harsh on the eyes.

You can get a kindle app for android. I haven't bothered to try it as I got a kindle as a Christmas gift. The screen on my phone is far too small to read anything for long periods!

Why don't you also try to download 10000+ Free eBook Downloads/Reader? It's a great app that has thousands of free ebooks that could be downloaded and read offline. You can find the app at the Google Play Store. I have been able to download numerous books from that app, namely:
    Harry Potter Series
    Goosebumps
    Lord of the Rings
    Dan Brown Books
