Is there a free Software that lets you make Android games?

It's really amazing that a lot of people are able to create android games and share them or sell them at the Google Play Store. , would also like to create a game or an app and share it in the Android market. Is there a free software that lets me create Android apps and games?

There isn`t such an app, you have to know how to code, especially java to create an app.

You can try App Inventor which has now been shut down and moved to MIT Center for Mobile Learning. App Inventor is a online creation place by Google that allows users to create Android apps and/or games by using a drag and drop interface. First you'll need to load in all the graphics and sound that your app or game is going to use, then you will arrange it on the screen and select what happens when certain items are clicked. The system is relatively easy to use and compiles your app or game into a downloadable .apk file. The app or game you design can then be installed on compatible Android devices only (not iphone). You will need to have an understanding of how software programs operate. If you don't just go through the online manual first and you should be able to get it. I hope this helps you out on your game designing quest.

Yeah App Inventor seems to be good. But you'll have to work hard. I really hope you'll make it. In my case, i would recommand Unity 3D for your games. You have to know how to makes games but the interface is really intuitive. Give it a try !
