Android Rooting Forum discussion about general android root development.
In the intro to rooting sticky (which was informative and I thank PBescabar7 for putting that together), optimizing a device to run better was mentioned, but there were no details given about that. I know overclocking is possible, but I don't think I want to get into that at this point (I usually keep my tablet in a case with a USB keyboard and I don't want to melt the case). However, I am interested in any other ways that I can make my tablet run better. I know that sometimes there are programs to run once and optimize Windows PCs and laptops, as well as things like defrag and such to run once a week or so.
What are some of the things I can do to increase the performance of my tablet? I know it'll never run like an iPad or Nexus, but even a small increase would be noticeable, especially in wifi speed.
There's this script/mod that's available for basically any Android device that speeds up your device drastically. It's called Supercharger V6 by zeppelinrox. I can't provide links yet, so just do a quick Google search.
The official thread should be on XDA-Developers. You should check it out.
I'll have to check that out. Many thanks.
Any other ideas? I know that can't be the only thing out there...
