Sprint abandoned plans to buy MetroPCS

Sprint was considering purchasing MetroPCS for 8 million dollars. I think they made the right decision to abandon their plans, but Sprint seems to be losing their customer base rather quickly. According to the article, Verizon and AT&T are top dogs in the mobile world.

Sprint has really crappy coverage and horrendous customer service so it is no surprise that they are losing customers to AT&T and Verizon. I don't think that Metro PCS would have brought much to the table so it was a sound business decision not to buy them.
