Video Chat?
Anyone using a Video Chat app? I just bought the new Bionic and I heard that the 4G is amazing with chat. A friend told me to get "Fring" and it's free. I don't want to download a lot of apps on my phone (for fear it will run slow). Anyone used Fring? Is it any good?

I haven't used Fring, but I've read about it. The sound quality is supposed to be amazing between Fring and Skype. Watch out for the group chat feature, though. There's no filter and apparently there are problems with some of the content being unsuitable.

I haven't used Fring, I use Tango and it works great. It hasn't slowed my phone down any and depending on how much on board storage you have it shouldn't slow yours down any either.

I love video chat! I use Tango also, only problem is, it seems to drain my battery out really fast so I tend to use it less. I do use it every chance I get to talk to my mom though, she doesn't care my battery will run out

The only video I have used is the hungouts on Google+ and it was a little choppy but I think its due to a friends connection, not mine. It seemed to work pretty good, even in low lit rooms.

I've used Tango too, but it effectively kills my battery. And I don't really like the quality of the image. Maybe it's because my secondary camera is just a vga, or I don't know... I don't use video chat that often anyway.

I have never used either but I have messed around a little with the video chat in Google huddles. For some reason my phone can take amazing images but the camera function seems a little laggy (though it could be the app too).

I'm using Skype for video chatting, but I don't do it pretty often, because my battery dies pretty quick too. I can't complain about the quality, but I hope that somebody will think about something to do with that battery...

I have skype on mine, I use it on my laptops, PC.. I'm quite used to it. The video feature is good, good quality sound.. overall I am pleased. I recommend it, even if the battery dies a bit fast, but that's why I have my spare battery in my pocket

never used it, but have heard a lot that its a good video calling app. “fringe” works for iOS, Android and Blackberry. It is available for almost every mobile phone, but you can only video chat with other fringe users. It supports both wi-fi and 3g networks, and also allows you send or receive text messages during video call.
